The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation frameworks while also being hands-on with manual testing when needed. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications (Java-based Web, Angular 15 frontend, Kotlin/Java Android, iOS apps)Execute and maintain regression, integration and functional test suitesPerform manual testing as needed, ensuring comprehensive coverage of new features and releasesCollaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality across the entire SDLCDevelop and execute test cases in Selenium, Gherkin, and related frameworksIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools)Test APIs and database interactions, validating results with SQL queriesWork within an AWS cloud environment, supporting DevOps and cloud-native testing practicesContribute to QA best practices, processes, and documentationActively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectivesYour Story5+ years of QA engineering experience with a strong focus on automationHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Gherkin/Cucumber frameworksStrong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript testing toolsExperience testing Angular (v15 or higher) applicationsProficiency in testing Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS mobile applicationsSolid understanding of SQL for data validationFamiliarity with AWS cloud services and DevOps practicesExperience implementing automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitHub Actions)Strong manual testing background with a keen eye for detailNice to HaveExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving mindset and analytical thinkingAdaptable, curious, and eager to learn new technologiesTeam player who contributes positively to a collaborative environmentProactive and self-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality softwareTeya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work.
